… I just can’t get enough of them.
They usually require a bit of work, and sometimes a bit of climbing, but they are usually worth it in the end. I look forward to basketball season for this reason, since it is the sport that benefits the most from remotes. Last Saturday, I got a chance to put a few up for the first time this season. I went with a Nikon D4 and 300 f/4 for the overhead remote, and a Nikon D800 and 24-120 f/4 for the floor remote, both triggered by Pocketwizard Plus IIIs.
